Clove stem oil is produced by steam distilling dried stems of Eugenia caryophyllata. Thunberg tree. The eugenol concentration is higher in clove stem oil relative to the clove bud oil, making it less suitable for cosmetic products, which directly make contact with the skin.

We source our nutmeg from the hill country of Sri Lanka, where nutmeg is available abundantly.
